Those speed traps only have a designed release for a mechanical hand (because Eggman doesn't want Metal Sonic to get stuck if he triggers/is tricked into one). Breeze can flip it easily... because her hand is robotisized. She got it stuck in one of the machines getting someone else out, and she doesn't like to talk about it.
